Our mission has always been to advance, illuminate, and endow performance improvement in infusion therapy.
Vision Statement
In modern healthcare, infusion therapy and vascular access are appreciated for their lifesaving potential and known for their capacity to produce life-threatening and life-altering complications. Healthcare management and clinicians from all disciplines regard infusion therapy as an invasive, high-risk, and complex intervention demanding a high level of knowledge and psychomotor and decision-making skills.
Infusion therapy and vascular access services involve a collaborative effort between the healthcare disciplines of nursing, pharmacy, radiology, medicine, and others. Clinical responsibilities encompass a broad spectrum of practices, tasks, and interventions. The scope of these practices is assigned to the most appropriate clinicians who accept accountability for the outcomes of their practice.
